I came, I read, I survived

Well, first of all thanks to all who came out to the S.A.L.S.A. Club’s Bohemian night, props to Felipe and crew for putting it all together and also props to all who read because it’s not easy sharing your stuff with people. So now back to me, I came, I read, I survived (the poetry reading). Let me tell you, I was freaken nervous but I think it turned out ok because I didn’t notice anything being thrown at me (Elaine) or people leaving due to my cruel rhythmic vocal lashing. Seriously though, I really enjoyed the whole experience, I guess you could say that I’m hooked. But don’t go looking for me at your local poetry hangouts just yet. In the mean time I’ll keep writing and hopefully my stuff will improve. Until the next time,
Peace!!!

Poetry Countdown

Well if you haven't heard, tomorrow I will be reading some of my so called poetry in public for the first (and maybe last) time. I guess this means that I'm going to have to write some...lol. Just so everyone knows there will be a large number of other poets reading so you can show up after I have read or leave before to save yourself the pain. I don't want anyone leaving with hearing damage. Hope to see everyone out tomorrow (Friday December 1st) at Huron College S.A.C., the show starts at 7pm.
